Butternut squash production, packing and exporting makes up the main activity of our company. The total production is close to six thousand tons per year, making Sarandis Nurseries the largest single european exporter of Butternut squash to the U.K. Thanks to its very long shelf life, and the variety of climates available in Greece, Butternut squash is available year round. The Butternut squash varieties we produce have a special and sweet taste, and is preferred for its high nutritional value, since it is rich in nutrients and antioxidants, while at the same time being low in calories. Its ability to remain fresh for prolonged periods of time at room temperature is also valuable.
